PASTOR'S WELCOME
|
|
If you are new to the Christian faith or are a life long believer, our ministry of our Church and School here at
St. John
will be a good place for you to make your spiritual home. We have been a stable source of Christian nurture in our Word and Sacrament ministry ever since we were founded in 1855. Our theology and practice are solidly in the Lutheran faith and we have been part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod since our beginning. We believe that we are all sinners saved by the grace of God demonstrated in His Son, Jesus Christ, who died and rose again.
You will find our people to be friendly, our worship services easy to follow, and that people of all ages are part of our team of volunteers. I invite you to check out our worship schedule and calendar so that you may plan your visit with us. Our school has space available and enrollment is open throughout the year to accommodate those moving to the area and those families with specific needs.
We have Bible studies scheduled throughout the week as well as on Sundays during our Sunday School hour. We have new groups forming for fellowship, study and spiritual care so that we may live out the Great Commission.
Check out some of the pictures on our website that exhibited various aspects of our ministry. Please consider worshipping with us this week and know that you are welcome to contact us at any time by way of email, office phone, text, cell phone or personal visit.
