ROOTED IN CHRIST ~ NURTURING HIS CHILDREN ~ BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS

St. John Lutheran School has served local families by providing a quality, faith-based education to students since 1855. The school day begins at 7:45 am and ends at 2:45 pm. Bus transportation is available for families in the Random Lake School District. We also offer before school and after school child care to meet the scheduling needs of our families.

Our early childhood program offers flexible fullday and half-day schedules for Junior PreK (18 mos.+), 3K, 4K, and Kindergarten. Teachers use a unified competency-based assessment plan to share progress with parents within the five domains of the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. In additional to literacy development activities, students learn and grow through art, music, physical education, and weekly chapel. Time spent outdoors is a priority.

Lower Elementary – Grades 1-4

1st grade math learning activity in classroom

Experienced teachers guide lower elementary students to develop spiritually, academically, socially, and artistically. Small class sizes allow for individualized attention to student growth. Students have access to current digital learning tools with 1:1 technology device ratios.

Upper Elementary – Grades 5-8

Grades 5-8 math students with flexible seating

Upper elementary students experience an academic environment intentionally designed to ease the transition from elementary to high school. To meet unique student needs and prepare them for a wide range of high school approaches, students participate daily in digital and offline, collaborative and individual learning activities.
